Ron Hoedebeck
is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic having served 16 years with the Tampa
Fire Rescue Department in Tampa, Florida. He retired early with a line-of-duty
disability. Prior to this, he was a volunteer firefighter with the Seffner/Mango
Fire Department in Seffner, Florida for 5 years and 1 year with the Golden
Gate Fire Department in Naples, Florida.
As a way of servicing his fellow firefighters, in June of 2000, Ron started
marketing a line of hats, polo and tee-shirts and duty wear to area fire
departments. As interest grew, he expanded the business to include gift
items, toys, accessories, clothing, and other items related to firefighters.
Today, Ron is dedicated to finding new products that are fresh and innovative
to add to his website. Ron Hoedebeck is an active member of the Krewe
of St. Florian, and the Tampa Bay F.O.O.L.S. In addition, he volunteers
with the Tampa Fire Rescue Public Education Office and drives the Canteen
Truck for the Tampa Fire Rescue Department.
Ron is also an active member of his church since 1991, volunteering his
time in various ministries. He's also an active Dad to his son, Chad and
his daughter, Melissa, her husband Peter and grandson Carter. Ron enjoys
discovering new knowledge with the computer and traveling to explore new
places and adventures.
